The duration of this course is 12 sessions on a 4 weeks basis, Each session is 2 hours
(At Least). Skills Covered:

- DDJ101 –
Digital DJ’ing Using Traktor
Digital DJing has
become the new wave nowadays using an external
controller such as a midi keyboard or a control
surface like the Torq Xponent, X1, Native Instruments Kontrol S4 ... along with
Traktor Software. The duration of this course is 15
sessions (45 to 60 minutes per session) for a 6
weeks period. This course covers the topics mentioned in the DJ101 Essential DJ Course along with new titles covering the Traktor Software Engine Explanation, and Digital Mixing Theories and Concepts. For students who have already taken the
DJ101 (Essential DJ Course), and would like to
take the DDJ101 (Digital DJ’ing), this course
will be given in 6 sessions only for a period of
3 weeks.
- DDJ201 –
Digital DJ’ing Using Ableton Live (Promo Mixing)
In this course
students will be learning how to mix their live
sets, promo mixes, especially their radio shows or promotional sets that they would like to post online or even share with friends. This course focuses on the professional side of mixing sets, puzzling the tracks and warp them to fit perfectly on top of eachother in a complex yet simple system of the Grid Technology. Editing, Sampling, and unlimited add of endless effects, leave the student open to a wide range of possibilities that he can apply using his creative thinking. The duration of this course is 12 sessions (45 to 60 minutes per session) for a period of 5 weeks. This course can only be given when the student has already taken the DJ101 or the DDJ101.
- LIV101 –
Live Performance Using Ableton Live (DJ Edition)
This is an advanced Digital Performance Course given using Ableton Live software along with an external midi controller (midi keyboard or midi control surface and/or an analog dj mixer). This is a good choice for people who like to mix live using Ableton Live, which is a software you can use to enhance your mixing techniques by adding endless effects, sampling, looping, and even adding external loops and samples to your mixes. Another bigger oportunity in this course is the ability to use external VST and VSTi to produce synthesis, play chords, basslines, notes, or even do live mashups while you are performing. This course also covers Mashup and Remix concepts. The duration of this course is 15 sessions (45 to 60 minutes per session) for a period of 6 weeks. This course can only be given when the student has already taken the DJ101 or DDJ101 course. Students who already took the DJ201, can take this course in only
6 sessions for a period of 3 weeks.
- LIV102 – Full Live Performance
This is an upcoming course at Per-vurt DJ School. This course is under construction, it is the highest level of performace live on stage. The word LIVE is the key !!! Yes, this is a Pure Live Performance and Production course, It has nothing to do with DJ'ing. More info and details soon to be posted.
- Critical
Listening and Music Organizing
This is one of the most important courses at
Per-vurt DJ School. In this course we will be
teaching the students how to listen to music in
a very professional and cautious way, how to
understand and differentiate between Electronic
Dance Music genres, styles and sub-styles, and
how to organize their folders, database, and
their CD case in the most expert and organized
way. The duration of this course is 6 sessions
(45 to 60 minutes per session) for a 3 weeks
